Rodeo Time
Wednesday night rodeo was what got me hooked on photographing the West. It was Jackson Hole, and dozens of cowgirls and cowboys got together and put some money in the till -- the perfect mix of community and competitive fun. Behind the chutes, in the pit and from the stands, I've photographed dozens of gatherings since then. Outdoor with the historic corrals are my favorite. But whether it's the Grand Daddy of 'Em All (Cheyenne) or 100 in the audience, I know each is a lens into the town.
